Hello Lovelies!
Now it wouldn’t be a ‘Captivating Life to Live’ post if I didn’t begin with telling you all how long it has been since I’ve written to you last. I’m not going to even look at my last real post to see how long it’s been, because I know I’ll just be disappointed in myself. Anyways onto some more regular writings.
The other day as I sat atop my four poster antique bed frame, white fluffy comforting surrounding me like a cocoon, scrolling through the lovely blog posts of all the wonderful people here on wordpress, I ran across one blogger OnlyMassie, well know for her realistic role play style posts about an oh so famous alpha named Massie, from the Clique series. She was toying with the idea of starting up a RL blog, similar to my earlier posts on here, and it got me thinking about this blog, which I’ve neglected due to laziness and my perusal of my beauty blog. But she started hers up and it inspired me to give this blog a little bit more love.
After I was done catching up on all the blogs that I follow, I threw back the fluffy comforter and let my freshly manicure (pedicured just doesn’t sound right) toes touch the carpet as I set off to get ready for the day.
Since it’s summer I don’t invest all that much time getting ready, so simple makeup that merely enhanced my natural features and a quick run through my hair with my fingers until my hair held that beachy, tousled look, was all it took. I donned a pair of simple shorts with a loose T draped across my shoulders while golden embroidered flats adorned my feet. And even though the weather here in California has left something to be desired, who ever heard of misting in the middle of June, I refuse to dress anyway but for summer.
So with goosebumps prickling across my freshly shaven legs I took my MacBook Pro outside with me to our newly redecorated and landscaped patio to catch up on some upcoming blog posts for my beauty blog. There was a chill in the air that I stubbornly ignored, pretending that the sun was beaming down on me and that the wind the tickled my face was warm and inviting. But there was only so much cold I could take in my less that adequate clothing, so I went back inside to make the final touches on the posts, before going on with the rest of my day.
At about 3 or so in the afternoon my friend and I set off to complete some much needed errands, and in the middle of it all I got a call from my new boss, yes I got a new job! Asking me if I could start early the next day, but unfortunately because he told me there were something I needed to complete before starting work I had to put it off, which I’m quite glad about, this way I get one more final day of no work where I can fully take advantage of my spare time.
Then once home I had a light dinner of grilled chicken and vegetables before heading out to get all the things I needed for work, mostly just clothes for my uniform, even though it’s not really a uniform more of a quideline really.
When I got home I took my new purchases straight to my room to be admired and hung up amonst all my other closthes. And as it’s becoming my nightly ritual, sat down to watch a couple of episodes of True Blood, an HBO TV series based on a book series I’ve read. And now I sit with the ending credits rolling by, atop one of the many lounges in our TV room, a cup of steaming peppermint tea beside me, as I’m just about ready to climb into bed. I’ll leave things here as ther is no more to tell you all. But as always I you have any comments or questions please don’t hesitate to leave them down below I’d be more than pleased to respond.
